EuroSport Tuning is proud to offer its line of Ultra-Flo Air Intake Systems for the Volvo models. The performance air filter kit replaces the original air filter and air filter box with a heat shield and cone filter in order to make the air flow go as straight and as simply as possible into the engine. Cold air, being denser, shows improvements in power over warm air drawn from the engine compartment. That is why we incorporate the original cold air intake pipe from the factory air box to flow fresh air directly under the cone filer. What makes the EST Ultra-flo kit superior to other kits on the market: Air Filter - the most important component of any air intake system is the air filter. The EuroSport Tuning air filter is manufactured for us by aFe a industry leader in performance air filter. The EuroSport Tuning/AFE filter features a velocity stack. This velocity stack allow the air to smoothly bend around the inlet into the throttle. The result is that you get more airflow at a better velocity than if you had just a straight tube.   Heat Shield - We have designed our heat shield to prevent hot air from the engine to enter the cone filter. This is done by a rubber seal that sits on the top edge of the heat shield and rest against the hood. We have also left the front of the heat shield open by the battery to let fresh air that flows into the engine compartment from between the headlight and hood to enter the cone filter. Other kits on the market have this area closed which creates a box effect and limits the air that the air filter can digest. Hardware - Our kit includes all mounting hardware along with installation instructions. The design permits high airflow, minimum restriction and maximum filtration, resulting in an increase of both the horsepower and torque for improved engine response. We have see a 6-8hp increase from dyno testing. This is the most economical way to give your car more power and a sporty sound! The filter is delivered pre-oiled and ready to install and is reusable after cleaning. Recommended service/cleaning every 65.000 km (40.000 miles). Service more often in off road or heavy dust conditions. All mounting details and instructions are included in the kit.
